The psychotherapeutic work is based on many years of international professional experience in working with different patient groups.
Egon Molineus has been working internationally and in multiple languages for 46 years in various professional fields with people.
Training and psychotherapeutic qualification
The psychotherapeutic qualification is based on a degree in psychology as well as state-regulated training in psychotherapy with a focus on behavioral therapy.
After completing his studies in psychology and obtaining the diploma in psychology, he completed a five-year, state-regulated theoretical and practical psychotherapy training program specializing in behavioral therapy at the state-recognized training institutes BAP (Bavarian Academy for Psychotherapy) and CIP Center for Integrative Psychotherapy (https://www.kirinus.de/akademie) under the supervision of Professor Serge Sulz in Munich.

Licensure and proof of specialization
In addition to the basic training, extensive further education and advanced training in various psychotherapeutic methods were completed.
After passing the state examination before the government of Upper Bavaria, he received state licensure to practice psychotherapy and the specialist qualification certificate in behavioral therapy for both individual and group treatment.
He was subsequently entered into the official medical register of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KV) Hamburg and became a member of the Hamburg Chamber of Psychotherapists (https://ptk-hamburg.de) as well as the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Psychotherapists (https://www.pksh.de).

Fundamentals of therapeutic work
The foundation of therapeutic work is a scientifically grounded approach, oriented toward learning psychology and humanistic principles, aimed at promoting self-management and personal development.
The basis of Egon Molineus’s current therapeutic and counseling work is the support, encouragement, and expansion of self-management in his motivated and committed clients, drawing on the scientific foundations of learning psychology as well as intuitive, in-depth, reflective, humanistic, and body-integrative methods, self-psychology, and mindfulness practice.
Egon Molineus places great importance on a didactically structured presentation of options, tools, and alternatives for his clients. He previously worked in educational, sociocultural, and psychosocial fields within both education and industry.
Egon Molineus expects from his clients an intensive and honest daily commitment to healing or personal development.
Further information can be found on the subpages about the self-modification project and reflection.
Special treatment concept: combination of group and individual therapy
A special treatment concept of the practice is the combination of group and individual therapy for more in-depth therapeutic work.
The most intensive and effective offering in his practice is the combined treatment of group therapy plus individual therapy, or group self-experience plus individual counseling.
The learning process through real interaction with the therapist as well as with a small group of selected clients enables a very deep experience and practice on cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal levels.
This combination provides benefits that cannot be achieved through individual therapy alone.
With the help of direct interaction in this protected setting, organic insights are gained on a mental and emotional level, and skills and abilities are trained.
Self-awareness and the transformation of inner processes and structures are thereby enabled and supported.
This combined treatment is also funded by private health insurance, civil service aid schemes, and healthcare benefits for public servants.

Patients receive information on funding and organizational procedures of the treatment as part of the individual contact process.
